Angela Blomquist
Manager, Level 6 

Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and Behaviour Co-ordinator (BeCo)

Angela was promoted to Manager at Hatch Warren Under Fives in September 2019 after a successful year as Deputy at our sister preschool, Kempshott Under Fives. Angela is Level 6 Qualified and holds a University degree in Early Years Education.

Angela is also the Area SENCO across both of our settings. She joined Hatch Warren Under Fives in 2006 and completed lots of training in Special Educational Needs (SEN). She has successfully completed Makaton (sign language) training as well as a variety of speech and language training and keeps up-to-date with ongoing training courses.

Angela works on a 1 to 1 basis with a number of children who have significant special educational needs. She finds it extremely rewarding and enjoyable to see these children make considerable progress during their time at preschool and is very proud that she is able to support the children and their families at the beginning of their educational lives.

Lisa Knapp

Deputy 

Lisa has been with Hatch Warren Under Fives for 13 years. She decided to follow a career in childcare after two of her boys attended Hatch Warren Under Fives. Lisa realised what a great start it was for them and started to volunteer as a parent helper. She then went on to study for the relevant qualifications and officially became part of the team.

Lisa was appointed Deputy in May 2018 - her three children are now much older and she felt ready to take on more responsibility within the preschool. Her length of service is testament to the fact that she absolutely loves her job working with our wonderful children!

Lisa is also our Safeguarding Lead at Hatch Warren Under Fives.

In her spare time Lisa enjoys watching her boys play football, shopping and keeping fit.

Trace Cameron

Early Years Practitioner

Trace is married with two children and lives in Beggarwood. Trace is an amazing member of our team at Hatch Warren Under Fives and she has been an Ofsted registered childminder since 2012.

Trace is a lively, happy, enthusiastic person, who has a love for children. In her free time she teaches spinning classes and enjoys keeping fit.

• Food Hygiene Level 2

Annabelle Kumm

Level 3 - Early Years Practitioner

Annabelle has worked with children for over 10 years. She has worked in nursery settings with children from birth to 5 years old and has also worked with families as a Nanny.

Annabelle studied for her level 2 in childcare at college and then worked on her level 3 while working in a nursery, passing in 2011.

For the last two years Annabelle has been busy with her two young children, but has kept her hand in working with children by volunteering at a local toddler group during her maternity leave. 

We are delighted to have Annabelle with us at Hatch Warren Under Fives, she is bubbly and smiley and has great fun with the children. Annabelle particularly enjoys seeing how the children develop and become independent.

In her spare time Annabelle enjoys family time with her children and husband.

Verity Steele

Level 3 - Early Years Practitioner

Verity joined our team at Hatch Warren Under Fives in April 2019. She feels very at home in our setting as she worked with us for a number of years before taking time out to be a stay at home Mum. Her youngest daughter attended Hatch Warren Under Fives and loved her time at preschool. It's lovely to have Verity back with us! 

Verity has worked in childcare for 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings including day nurseries, preschools and private nannying. She is passionate about her work with children and enjoys building relationships and watching the children develop.

Siobhan Keen

Level 3 - Early Years Practitioner

Siobhan moved from KiddiCaru Nursery in Basingstoke, where she had been working for the last two years, to join our team at Hatch Warren Under Fives.

Siobhan is passionate about her work with children and enjoys watching them grow and become more independent during their time at preschool.

She is kept busy at home with her 3 year old son and her 14 year old step daughter. 

Siobhan was born in London but has lived in Basingstoke for most of her life. She is constantly on a diet and constantly failing because she loves food too much!

Louise Gibbs

Level 3 - Early Years Practitioner

Louise joined us in September 2019 and settled into the team as if she'd been with us forever! Louise, who is Level 3 qualified, started her childcare career at Snapdragons preschool in Basingstoke before moving to Kiddi Caru Nursery.  

Louise says "I absolutely love my job and look forward to going to work every day and watching the children learn and develop, it's such a great joy to be a part of their preschool journey." 

Louise is a busy Mum of 3 children, she has a 12 year old daughter and two sons aged 9 and 2.
