Melissa Keane

Manager

Melissa was promoted to Preschool Manager in January 2018 after a successful year as our Deputy Manager. Melissa, her partner and their two young children moved to Basingstoke at the beginning of 2017, she'd previously been working as a Deputy Manager at a large preschool in London. 

Melissa loves her work with children and gets most enjoyment out of seeing them progress during their time at preschool.

Rachael Rosser

Deputy

Rachael joined our team in April 2019 and was promoted to Deputy the following September. She is Level 6 qualified and holds a degree in child development, a diploma in Early Years and a Level 3 TA qualification. Rachael is a very bubbly member of the team and, as her qualifications show, she is extremely passionate about her career in Early Years. Rachael is also our Deputy SENCO at the setting.

Rachael has two children and enjoys reading and family trips to the cinema. She particularly loves musicals - so we're expecting big things at our preschool performances with Rachael's musical expertise!

Sophie Dispinseri

Early Years Practitioner

Sophie joined us in September 2019, having previously worked at Kiddi Caru nursery in Basingstoke. Sophie is very passionate about working with children and gets the most pleasure from seeing them gain independence and grow.  

In her spare time Sophie is kept on her toes by her two children.

Alison Cuss

Early Years Practitioner

Alison has been involved with both our Kempshott and Hatch Warren Under Fives Preschools for a number of years teaching yoga to our little ones. Through her preschool yoga classes we could see what a wonderful way she has of working with our children, so we were delighted that she joined our team at Kempshott Under Fives in 2020. 

Alison has a HNC in Early Childhood Studies (level 4) and has worked in childcare and school settings for over 20 years. She loves chatting to the children and building up their language skills and she is fully qualified to teach children's yoga. Speech and Language and Mental Health and Wellbeing in children are both areas she feels passionate about. She is a trained speech and language specialist and has been invaluable in preschool during COVID when all outside speech and language services have been unavailable or appointments delayed for families.

Alison enjoys crafting and baking in her spare time, especially with her two daughters.

Angela Blomquist

Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and Behaviour Co-ordinator (BeCo)

Angela is the SENCO across both Kempshott and Hatch Warren Under Fives Preschools, spending time at each of our settings during the week. She was Deputy at Kempshott until 2019 and is now Manager at our sister setting, Hatch Warren Under Fives. She has worked across both of our preschools since 2006, specialising in Special Educational Needs (SEN). She has successfully completed Makaton (sign language) training as well as a variety of speech and language training and keeps up-to-date with ongoing training courses. Angela is Level 6 qualified and holds a degree in Early Years Education. 

Angela works on a 1 to 1 basis with a number of children who have significant special educational needs. She finds it extremely rewarding and enjoyable to see these children make considerable progress during their time at preschool and is very proud that she is able to support the children and their families at the beginning of their educational lives.
